Feeling very uninspired!

I have been feeling really uninspired - sluggish - dull recently. Wish there was a magic pill that I could take -which would clear my mind and make it function 100%.

"Uninspired-sluggish-dull feeling" is a very unkind affliction to have. It makes you want to do nothing, which in turn clouds your mind.  Its a vicious circle; which includes hours and hours of internet surfing - social networking or whatever/where ever your interest incline, lots of snacking - ultimately you end up gaining couple of pounds, lowering your self esteem and a new(?) tag for yourself  - "lazy" :(

How to break banana in half & more.

Did you know that banana has not changed for 1000s of years, since the end of the last ice age? So, the banana our (monkey?) ancestor were eating, is same as the one we are eating now!

And, the "Cavandish" Banana - the world's favorite fruit is on the verge of extinction due to fungus invasion (which unfortunately the banana is not immune to)?

Sad story. But I do not worry much about this, I guessing some scientist will find a way to avoid extinction or atleast some more powerful chemical that can be sprayed. :(

Anyways, moving on..
Did you know there are lots of fun things you can do with banana?

First off, you can eat it.  Yum! Aside from being yummy, its' said to help if you have SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and depression, increase energy etc.

But, what can you do when you have only one banana and want to share it?

Or, if you just feel like eating only half banana (some of them are long! )

Breaking Banana into two halves
Tools required: Banana and hands.

Step 1: Hold the banana (on both end) with both of your hand.
Step 2: Snap it in halves.

(WALA!! you have (almost equal) 2 banana halves, now you can share with your friend or store for later consumption)

How about if there is three of you, and only one banana? Do not fret dear ones, you can split it into equal three ways as well.

Splitting the Banana three ways
Tools Required: Banana and (clean) Hand

Step 1: Peel off the banana skin.
Step 2: On the center of blossom point, press with your finger, and go all the way. (I prefer index finger, but you can do it with whichever finger you feel comfortable.)
(And, as before, WALA! you have banana split into three ways! (a la  "The Dreamers"))

##If you want it in more pieces, then I would recommend Knife. You can cut it into as many pieces as you want. Even two or three.

Fun with Banana Peel
After you are done eating, did you know there are many things you can do with banana peel too?

Entertainment
The Banana Peel is so slippery, that if you step on it, you are bound to slip. If you are into "slapstick comedy", it can provide you with endless entertainment. Think about all the possibility!
Real story though, once I stepped on banana skin and did not TRIP! Maybe the angle I stepped on it was not right. But it did provide us with the fun conversation in which we debated about validity of  jokes (which features slipping on Banana Peel). Good times.

Banana Peel & Animals
Cow, Chicken, Dog & Cat
If you have cow, good (munchies) for them. My dad cuts the peels into little pieces and feed it to the chickens in the backyard. Don't think it's good idea to feed it to your dog though. Dog being intelligent animal might know you are offering him/her the wrapper, not the good stuff.
Cat as far as my experience goes, does not like fruits. So, unless she/he specifically request it. Do not offer it to them. You do not want to offend your cat!
Other Animals
As, I have zero experience with other animals,  I cannot tell you if the other animals will appreciate the offer of peel or be disgusted by it.Sorry.

Banana Peel for your Skin
But I think Banana skin is best for your skin. Yes for skin! Its the best, simple and easy face mask.

Banana Skin Face Mask
Step 1: Rub the inside part of the peel all over your face.
Step 2: Let it sit on your face for  10-15 min.
Step 3: Wash it off.
As the peel contains potassium and other antioxidants, it helps to keep the skin looking soft, supple and healthy.

Banana Peel for wart, psoriasis, skin allergies, mosquito bite and other skin conditions
You can also use it on cure your wart, psoriasis, skin allergies, mosquito bite and other skin conditions. Just rub the peel on the problem area, and wash it off after 15-20 min.
On your wart, you will need to make it into small piece and stick it to your wart.

More
There are many more benefits of banana which I have not listed here, many more ways of making banana face mask, and ways of using banana peel. Happy browsing!
